Specializes in: Experiential Play Therapy
Andrea Mondragon, LMSW, is a passionate therapist at The Community Lighthouse, dedicated to helping children and families access the tools they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With a background at CYFD, Andrea has developed a deep commitment to supporting her community, believing that with the right resources, anyone can conquer their inner battles and reach their full potential.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, with strong family ties to Taos, Andrea has always felt connected to the people of New Mexico. Inspired by her own experiences growing up around loved ones who struggled with mental health concerns but lacked access to care, she pursued a career in social work to break down barriers and reduce stigma. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies in 2021, followed by her Master’s in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in 2023.

Outside of her work, Andrea enjoys traveling, especially continuing her family’s 20-year tradition of visiting Disneyland and Disney World annually. When she’s not helping clients or exploring Disney magic, she loves working out, reading, singing, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Andrea’s dedication to advocacy and empowerment aligns perfectly with TCL’s mission to help individuals and families heal and thrive, ensuring that every client she works with feels supported on their journey to success.
